I am hoping to go for 130 or better, but if its an obviously mature buck with a smaller rack, which was the case with a buck i shot last year, than i will be at fulldraw in a hurry. I like to restrict myself to "mature" deer, rather than an inch restriction, by mature i try to not kill a buck under 3.5 and would rather they be at least 4 to 5.

125 plus for a clean 10 pointer (5x5). Otherwise 145 plus for anything else.

I'm lookin for a solid 8 point this year... but the first legal deer that walks by this year is gettin the smack down. Everyone tells me to just take that first deer with your bow, and you'll be hooked for life. Heck... I'm already hooked on bowhunting and its my first season! I'm just hoping that I'll take a deer with the bow this season... but I can wait.

Only something I would spend the money to taxi.

He'll have to be an exceptional 2.5 yr old......or most likely 3.5+. I'm not the least bit worried about it. I might not shoot a buck, this year.

I would could say that my minumum would be 4 to a side, but since i have not yet killed a buck with my bow (second season) then i might sling an arrow the way of the first legal deer that walks by to get some expierience under my belt!

I don't impose antler restriction i just try to shoot mature bucks regardless of how mant points they have. Two yrs a go i shot a 4 pt that was passing the stand and was already wounded just depends on the situation.
