I'm watching Deer and Deer Hunting on the Outdoor Channel and Charlie Alshiemer (sp) says the one week or so to be in the woods this year will be from Oct 31 though Nov 12th....

I'm off, not counting my injury time off Oct 31 through that second week of Nov...our season ending the 10th (my birthday)....

Looks like worst case scenerio, I'm still there prime time....when most if not all bucks are up and searching (his words)....! !

I'm still excited about my season regardless of my injury at present. I might miss early season but with NO ONE else hunting my honey hole, this just might be my year....

And many of your didn't pick the NE for the biggun....

Hell, I can tell you for next year, too... and the year after that, and the year after that.

Nov. 3-12 is THE best week to be in the woods.

I SAW THE SAME SHOW AND SMILED CAUSE I TOO HAVE VACATION FROM OCT 24thTO NOV 06th.

MR ALSHIEMER CAME TO ONE OF THE LOCAL CHURCHES AND GAVE A SPEACH ON HIS HUNTING AND LIFE EXPERIENCES (GOD). IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. HE IS A VERY NICE AND VERY INTELLIAGENT PERSON.

I PURCHASED HIS CALENDER AND IT HAS ALL THE CHASE PHASE AND BREEDING PHASES ETC. SO AFTER THAT SPEACH AND THE CALENDER I PICKED THE WEEK OF OCT 29 THRU NOV 03. THEN I TOOK FEW HOLIDAYS THAT I HAD COMING TO ME. NOT TO BAD ONE WEEK VACATION TURN INTO 2WEEKS OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Always seems to be prime time that 1st week on Nov. Good luck Rob. Make the NE proud!
