We're 3 weeks awat here in Ga too. I am excited but frustrated at the same time. I was supposed to be in SC this wed, butI have still go t some punch list stuff to do on a landscape job we just finished and can't leave again today. It's so hot any way--so maybe I'll try again next weekend.I am also hunting in Nc north of Raleigh in Arcola.

Getting access to a prime piece of private land this year...and seeing some awfully nice bucks over the last four weeks has me more excited than I can remember being in a while. I always look forward to it...but the excitement level is just higher this year. But when I walk outside and it's 95 and muggy as heck (like today)...it saps some of that excitement just a little!

Me to G, the upstate of SC open for archery on the 15th of Sept. We planted some food plots a few weeks ago, but it hasn't rained over there in several weeks.[:@]Hot as HELL. Stands already in place.
Good Luck, B

New approach, this year.
I'll climb only for the first two weeks. I didn't go in my woods.....thinking I didn't want to risk spooking anything by setting stands. We'll see.....
I'll set my hang ons on a good rainy day in a couple of weeks. (after the opener)
HUH?? Your hunting over my head. I set mine 45 days prior so I don't spooke them after the opener.
