3 Weeks from tonight......I'll go to bed early....and get up early and carry my stand and my bow.

Man, I am telling ya, its getting exciting, isn't it!!! I have 5 weeks but hey, tomorrow I head to the woods to check up on some deer and pigs.

Jeff you using a climber - thought you have had some stands set in place

And i am getting anxious as well, not sure if i will make opening week but the first chance I get I am in the woods

New approach, this year.

I'll climb only for the first two weeks. I didn't go in my woods.....thinking I didn't want to risk spooking anything by setting stands. We'll see.....

I'll set my hang ons on a good rainy day in a couple of weeks. (after the opener)

I don't know about Jeff but I am shooting whatever walks out...doe, buck or pig. But of course, I am looking for a very particular 8 point!

I'll drop every doe I get a shot at...until I get to a magic number.....then I'll buck hunt (If I get to that number).

Take a buck if it works out.....OK if it doesn't.
