i need more speed

You do not need more speed, I dont care if you shoot a old style bow, Yes you can get a overdraw and all that, I started my hunting when I was 12, shooting way before that, I shot a old hand me down bow that shot 40 pounds but my dad had it cranked down to 35 wich is the state lowest poundage that you can legaly shoot in my state, I shot 2 deer my first year with that bow and my first buck the next year, then I went to the myles keller XI Impulse, and shot many deer with that bow until I traded up and got a different bow, the XI was maxed out at 50#'s now you tell me how fast I was shooting with them bows at that poundage with the big ass 2115's and the 2217's that I was shooting.. NOT VERY FAST... On most bows now you can set the riser backa mile and basicaly have your overdraw and if you have a bow that is under 10 years old your speed will be PLENTY fast... Their is a million things you can do to increase your speed but if you wantto increase your harvest rate upgrade your accuracy...

Max out your bow, use blazers, take evrything off your string except your peep/kisser and loop. Also get a dropaway and shorter lighter arrows and go with lighter broadheads. that should get you faster and if it dont get you as fast as you would like well you may be in need of a new bow..
