For those who think that once feathers get wet, you can't get them to look decent again, here's a shot after I briefly dried them with a blow dryer and ran my fingers across them. Remember, two were soaked. Which ones?

I agree about the cables and strings,you will lose a few yards,that's for sure and I think his group has more to do with the shooter than the wet feathers.

To take it a bit further... If it were raining that badly you would have one heck of a time tracking the blood trail anyway.
