But I could show you a tighter group with wet Blazers...[8D]

j/k If it's raining that damn hard, it's worse on having wet strings and cables than it is worried about the feathers/fletching etc....
I agree about the cables and strings, you will lose a few yards, that's for sure and I think his group has more to do with the shooter than the wet feathers.

For those who think that once feathers get wet, you can't get them to look decent again, here's a shot after I briefly dried them with a blow dryer and ran my fingers across them. Remember, two were soaked. Which ones?

The 2nd and 5th one? Just messin

Absolutely. It had everything to do with the shooter. I had just finished mowing the lawn, and it had been 2 weeks since I'd shot. And then there's the fact that, well....I'm just not that good. Still, that last shot at 40 yards with a BH is about the norm. I'm all set... how about you guys?

To take it a bit further... If it were raining that badly you would have one heck of a time tracking the blood trail anyway.

Very cool experiment thought!

Yep, I had to acknowledge that inthe other thread back in the Technical forum. Can you imagine it? A colorblind bowhunter trying to follow a blood trail in the rain??? Ha! Hang it up.
