I just received my bohning pro class jig with right helical and straight clamps, blazer vanes and wraps.
My question is which clamp would you guys use and where in the world do you set the magnet at?? Im playing around with it now but I figured I would ask you all to see if you can make it easier on me?? Thanks!!
OOOps i meant to put this in the tech forum! Since i know theres one mod sittin around doing nuthin im sure he will move it for me! haha

Kshafer I am doing that with the clamp, I was wondering about the magnet part with the two wing nuts that you can adjust??
I am getting a small offset with the couple I have put on but how do you know enogh, not enough, etc...?

When Im fletching blazers with mine, I set it to as much offset as I can get and still have both ends of the vane contacting the shaft, Im not sure of the degrees. I shoot a fall away rest so I can shoot lots of offset with the blazers. I also use the straight clamp, it doesnt seem to matter with the blazers, theyre too short to notice any helical from the clamp. I set the rear of my blazers at the first large mark on the clamp, 1 inch from the rear of the clamp. Hope this helps some.
