Wow, nicely done! The club I shoot at has an elk at 65 and we shoot that alot. I can put them about grapefruit size, but nothing like yours! Great job.

Very nicely done there! Groups at 60 yards don't get much better than that.

My question to MOST of us archery hunters, deer, bear, elk, turkey etc. How many hunters shoot 60 yards? I know I sure son't and wouldn't even think of practicing at 60 yards, arrows are too darn expensive to begin with plus who wants to wound an animal?

If he is shooting groups like that i dont think he will wound too many animals at 60 yards

1st off, just because someone practices at 60 yards doesn't mean they will shoot at an animal at 60 yards. secondly, with practice, the price of the arrows is not a factor because you won't lose any. Practicing at 60 yards makes 30 yards look like a lay-up.

You are not accounting for the moving of the animal in the time it takes to get there.

Buck master, that is great shooting. Your hours of practice certainly show.

Where exactly were you aiming? Looks like it would be hard to aim at the exact same spotin all that foam. I'm just asking.

Good shooting.Doesn't get muchbetter than that at 60 yards.

Great shooting!!!!! With groups like that at 60 yards those 40 yard shots become so much easier.

Its called Great Stuff, poor mans vital replacement. and i was aiming lower than that but i was amazed more at the group rather than the shot placement, i dont group that good at 30yrds most of the time.

Just throwin my 2 cents in there. I read an article on a guy that claimed he could make consistent shots out to 90 yds with his bow. Pics and what not the story in the article was on an Oryx (I think) he shot at 92 yards. 1 shot - 1 animal. What I think should be done is that no one should step outside the boundry of their comfort zone. If the shot is risky and you have doubts = dont take the shot. I dont shoot past 30 yards. Plus thats the fun of bowhunting to me. Getting that close to the animals and following through with a good shot. That my friends is why I bowhunt.

i dont thinkbuck master 101is saying he is going to shoot at 60 yards. shooting that far helps you fine tune your skills and become a better shot. twenty and thirty yards will be much easier in hunting conditions.

by the way buckmaster, great shooting, keep it up

I AGREE NEXT TIME YOU ARE SHOOTING YOUR HUNTING SETUP FIGURE OUT HOW HIGH YOU WOULD HAVE TO HOLD TO SHOOT 90 YARDS
FOR ME SHOOTING 62LBS 28 1/2 ARROW 350 MAXIMA HUNTER 100GR HEAD I HAVE TO HOLD ABOUT 20 FT HIGH THATS IF I WANT TO GET IN THE AREA SO BY RIGHTS I WOULD HAVE TO HAVE A PIN COMING OF MY BOTTOM LIMB OR I WOULD HAVE TOCHANGE MY ANCHOR I DON'T THINK THAT WOULD BE A ETHICAL SHOT TO TAKE JUST MY OPINION

Awesome Group!!
I shoot more at 60 yds than I do at 30. Ive never had groups that tight but Ive had 3 of 6 arrows like that at 60 but the other 3 made the total group about the size of a grapefruit as someone said. Long shots make closer shots easier IMO. Ill shoot 6 round of 6 arrows at 60yds, than 3 rds of 6 arrows at 30yds. After starting that routine my 30yd groups are insane, I go through alot of nocks but have yet to "robinhood" one. I know its expensive but when I shoot at different spots my groups change, its probly all mental but I found my comfort zone and Im not about to change it.

I've never shot past 40 yards. You have some serious skills if you can pull that off consistently. I have robinhooded arrows but never consistently. Some are good days and others aren't....

Congrats just the same!!!

I would hope a guy didn't have to lie about the grouping he shot with his bow....with that being said I take your word, and say damn fine shooting...makes my 40yd group look like a small child shot it. BUt I like my 3 pin hoyt sight...20yd, 30yd, 40yd...is all I need

Don't worry about Longbeard, what he thinks or post means absolutely nothing anymore.

I have not been shooting for very long this time around, but I feel I have came a long way very quickly.I never dreamed I would love shooting and practicing with my bow this much!!!I would take a 60 yard shot on an elk this year if everything was perfect. No wind, feeding animal with his head down, plenty of time, and plenty of light. Chances are, ifI had all that going for me,I would be able to work my way a little closer for a better shot.

I never said it was consistent:Di think its just a once in a lifetime thing like i said earlier i usually cant group like that a 30! but i couldnt let something that cool go unspoken about i still have not pulled the arrows out yet.

I don't get into debates on here much any more and would have a hard time calling a man a liar when i do not even know him. He said he does not do it all the time and makes it sound like he had a good day and wanted to show off some pics. Big deal

But your last quote puts you right up there in the totally worthless to HNI and the rest of decent world! That man hurt alot of people and hurt alot of generations of people. What you said makes you a worthless piece of flesh that waste the air others have to compete for!

I can only say that I wish we were in closer proximity of each other, say, face to face. Then it would be easier to explain things to youso that you could clearly understand. You are a very bad person andI can't believe they allow you to stay on here. You bad mouth other hunters and our country and I can only imagine how pitiful you must be in person.
