Nobody else is having a problem believing it ya know why because they have done unthinkable things in there life too wich makes it not so hard to believe, Im sorry you have nothin better to do than cause problems because you have never enjoyed life enough to where every now and then the unthinkable happens.

Heres how it went, i was shootin around 30 groupin aroun 2.5" happy with that, my gf and brother and cousin was out watchin and i thought i would show off a little so i go my rangefinder out and went back to exactly 60yrds. my last pin. They said i couldnt shoot one that far so i Shot 3 arrows and all i could here was the thump of the target i had no idea where i had hit each time i was glad to be hitting the target notice the block underneath. well they had already lost interest big deal he hit it wow. so i walked up to the target and there it was, I was amazed so i took pics put them on here: 99% great shots and 1% liar. think i really care???NO!!

I shot 3D with Arron on Tuesday night......like...TWO days ago.

Young man shoots his bow well enough to slap my arrows a few times (I shot first) at ranges from 20-40yds. If he tells me he shot three arrows and stacked 'em up like in that photo........you know what.

I believe him. Never claimed he did it every time....just posted an admitted anomoly.

Looking forward to shooting some more, soon, buddy.

First of all. Look at the group... It's suposedly was shot at 60 yards. Ok. How many peoples bow areso fast that when they shoot at 60 yards there is no ark in the arrow... shoot a arrow at 10 yards... I bet it's on the same level as his... Second. Come on. There is no spot for this guy to aim at... To shoot a group that tight at 20 yards I would need a 1" spot to aim at...I was talking to a few guys at the pro shop I hang out at and they just laughed and said not even with a cross bow off a rest... I guess the difference between me and the rest of you ****s. Is I don't suround myself with idiots;)You guys want to believe him that's your buisness... I know were there is some water front property in Arizona for sale... You guys ought to jump on it

Longbeard....

ALL he is telling you is he basically MISSED in the same spot three times.

Maybe we should talk about headshots.......of course....I thought this about your headshot thread....

Well I guess since the guys that hang around Mr. Longbeards pro shop say it can't be done, then you know it can't. Those guys are legends. What does F stick mean? Probably some term other internet CSI guys use.Probably the same group of guys that told him headshots were a good idea (but only with a crossbow from a rest).

Mr. Longbeard

You know that song "I am SoMuch Cooler Online".

It's not about you F stick. (whatever that means);)

Well, anyone surrounding you would be a genius in comparison to you so I guess you are correct ;). Is that waterfront next to the public land where you shoot the spikes in the head?

RE: Pic of 60yrd. Group!!

I dont think the guy is lieing. I shoot 60 yds with my bow all the time and i love shooting that far too. I think its a load of fun. i cant group them that tight but i did shoot a ground hog 2 days ago at 60 yds.
Also i feel very confident in shooting 60 yds. I know i wont be out there shooting every deer i see at 60 yds. But i KNOW that if there is a deer at 60 yds and it is not spooked and i can draw consentrate and make a good steady shot i know that arrow will go right there behind the shoulder. But like someone else mentioned i like to let them get in as close as they will come befor i shoot them. Thats what bowhunting is all about.

Hey buckmaster,
Again, great shooting. must have been cool walking up and seeing that.

Question. Does that yellow stuff stop the arrow real well? Is it easy to pull it out?
Say for instance someone wanted to take a cardboard box and fill it with that stuff, would it work? I've never seen it

Crittergiter 08-16-2007 01:25 PM

RE: Pic of 60yrd. Group!!

I've never shot that tight before but would love to see that in my target some day (maybe about 6 inches lower though)

By the pic I'm guessing thats a Fred Bear Instinct or Element? any of those two?

That's a great group at 60 yards. That's a great group at 30 yards for that matter.

As far as if it's true or not, I'd like to think so just because it makes a cool story and pic. If it's not, meh, it's like watching TV, yeah it's not true, but it's still entertaining.:D

Alright buddy listen to me! i hate nothin more than for someone to call me a liar!! I will shoot again from 60yrds and show you the terrain from where i shoot me bow there is a droop in my yard which makes me set just a little lower than my target... I shoot at 60 yds and my arrows are darn close to perpandicular to ground, I think. I know it doesnt make sense, so if I can figure out how and weather conditions permit (supposed to rain this weekend) I will tape me shooting a couple arrows and see what type of angle theyre at. Grouping wont look like that though.

I still totaly belive the guy. Like i said i shoot 60 yds all the time and my arrows never look nock high in the target. And when they come off the bow they dont really look like they are making a big arch.

I shoot a hoyt vulcan set at 64 pounds. Im not sure what the IBO of the element (i belive that is what he said he had) but i know the IBO of my vulcan is 325 fps. And it deffently has no trouble getting out to 60 yds.

So i think its just pathedic that you guys are making a big thing about this. All the guy did was post a picture of his group from 60 yds because he was very happy of it an wanted to share. And then all you guys do is bash on him. Thats why i hate posting pictures on here of things that im proud of because i know someone will say something ignorant about it, especialy deer pics. Most of you do say congrats and nice deer but there is always a few who have somthing mean or ignorant to say.

Chances are, he was always picked on, probably his whole life. This is the only way he can thrive, on a computer, here heis a "he man". In life he's just another dweeb, and always has been!
