So you're saying you put Super Glue on a cut? Hmmm... don't know about that one? Can you shed any more insight into that?

It acts like stitches and will hold the cut together. They (the doctors)actually glued my chin back together after a bull split it apart once.

Super glue is used for most plastic surgery to prevent scaring .

And nothing is better at stopping blood loss.A tourniquet used properly to stop blood flow for a short period until glue can be applied could save your life.

Wildness hunting is fantastic but you must remember any wound can be life threatening when proper health care is unavailable.

This is true Greg and a great recommendation.

Your sleeping bag is abit over-kill . It's been nothing but HOT here . That goes for the higher elevations too . But , you can always crawl out of a hot bag . Keep in mind that elk country is also bear and lion country . Good luck . Witch GMU are you going to ?

Thanks for the explanation of the super glue, guys...

Yeah, I figured the sleeping bag was overkill... but it's one of those things where it's only like $20 additional to get something so much better. I'm hearing the nights are down into the low 30's there now from my hunting partner; hopefully it'll continue to get cooler.

I'm not sure of the GMU at all; I just know it's really close to Montrose. Over-the-counter archery tags if that tells you anything.

- I just looked at my sleeping bag; it's rated to -30. Guess I didn't want to think about getting cold the day I ordered it! [8D]

The super glue is good to have but you should pick up some QR powder it is for majorcuts and can stop arterial bleeding. Good luck and you will love the hunt
