Hi Everybody,

I'm completely sold on the thermacel and repelling mosquitos and blackflies, but does anybody have any experience with the Thermascent? I would think heating up deer pee in the middle of winter would work pretty well. I'd really like to know what you guys think about this.

I was stuck between buying the Thermacell to repell mosquito's and bugs or buying the the Thermascent and it was early Bow Season and hot and miserable so I decided on the Thermacell so I could go out Bow Hunting and keep the dang bugs off me while I hunted. I even used the Thermacell several times when we wentCamping or to the Drive_In Theater and it helped keep those pesky mosquito's away!


I'll be watching your post RedMoon because I'm thinking about buying the Thermascent to attract Bucks this Fall and was wondering how well it worked?

Do you remember what the scenerio was? What types of scents did you use, at what stage of the rut or prerut, close to what type of feature like a draw or creek bottom?

They are the same thing. They even sell a shelf for the thermacell so it can be a thermascent.. Just depends if your using bug stuff or attractant.
