Just pull through the shot with your back muscles and learn the muscle memory and you'll be good to go!!
Mess around with different grip pressures etc.......you'll notice that you feel a lot more handshock if you are strangling the grip as opposed to a looser grip.
I'll show you how to make that simple little wrist sling that will let you shoot relaxed without fear of the bow flying 10yards downrange. (I know I bounced mine across the basement floor once because I got TOO relaxed
)
It actually is a lot like golf, I have been doing that my whole life and did a little Div II golf in college. I've gotten away from it in recent years and relearning the muscle memory on my irons is driving me nuts!
I can hit the driver a mile because the grip it and rip it seems to have never left but the controlled mid to long irons are a mess.
Too bad golf is darn expensive.......Everytime I'm out I think, "Man I could have picked up that pack of broadheads I needed with this money" etc etc
Which makes keeping up with my game a little tough.
