In W. KY the ticks are thick, chiggers are thick, but thank GOD we've got enough big deer that those things dont even matter! Good luck in the Bluegrass State.

Hey Germ, Sundays are open here for hunting. Can't say much on the ticks, haven't noticed them too bad in central ky. Best of luck to you guys, should be fun and HOT. Hope it's a successful trip and hope I'm tagged out by then. LOL

I'll be in camp no matter what. Im on a great farm this year and might tag out before the 20th, but I'll drive up and camp out regardless. In all seriousness, theres a big time virus thats hitting the W. KY deer herd right now. Been finding several dead fawns and yearlings the last couple weeks. I talked to a biologist on campus thursday and he said its not affecting mature deer at all, but It will be noticeable in 2-3 years by trophy hunters. I'll keep ya'll updated

H&H is in Union COUNTY Ky ,near Morganfield.


Ticks and Chiggers suck,permanone works best.Also bring the thermacell because the no seeums can bebad.


I should also have a pop up and I should be down Thursday afternoon.
