RE: How Much $?
This is the start of my 51st year of Bowhunting. I have Bowhunted 2 provinces of Canada, Colorado & New Mexico at least 25 of those years & Wisconsin like it was my home state (non-res fees) plus MAryland, N.C., Ark.,Ill., Ia., Tx, Ok.,Mn, La., Ms., & probably some I have forgotten.
I would say "I wish I had it all in a pile in front of me (the $$$) but the experiences I have had are priceless.
In June I spent a total of around $500 just to Bowhunt in 95 degrees for a single hog. I am fortunate to e able to have done all this & hope you all may have those chances if you so desire. Just take care of "Family" 1st.
My "MOST EXPENSIVE" Bowhunt was when I took my son at the age of 16 Caribou hunting in Quebec-total back then was about $7000 (now probably $10,000). We have some great Caribou mounts but the experience was great. I am glad I was able to share that with my son. I worked in a steelmill then (retired now) & I worked EVERY hour of overtime availablethat summer to do this-I "LIVED" in that mill for nearly 3 months, so I earned that trip, for sure.
Good luck & if you can afford it, do it. Don't look back in years gone by & say, I "could" have done that...Sorry, got way off track.
