when things go well...

yesterday i recieved my Bucknasty string. ran to the shop and had it put on and tuned. the guy tried his best at tuning, but i still had a nock low tear on the paper. i really didnt care...i keep going and dont settle for a paper tune. yesterday i worked on roughing in my 20, 30 and 40yd pins.
today i worked on broadhead tuning. my flight looked good with fieldpoints..broadheads looked good too. broadheads hit a couple inches low and left at 15yds. lowered my nock point a few hairs, moved the rest slightly in and let up the tension on my NAP 1000 prong rest...sure enough my bow is now broadhead tuned.
love it when things go well. no spine issues...good flight...good groups.
heres some pics as a big thank you to everyone that puts up with my questions year after year...hopefully i can put a buck down this season...i owe him to you all...you know who you are...

this pic is a 20yd group...cant get em any close than that...last time i shoot groups with my brand new arrows...already shot a hole in a fletching[:@]

these 2 pics show off the bucknasty strings. thanx again John..awesome string. got about 150 shots on it already...like expected, nothing moved or needed adjusted...i went with brown and green with brown end serving. i really love the bright flashy strings..they look awesome...but that drives me nuts in the tree stand. only thing i want bright and flashy are my arrows...even the white fork tamers get at me

red lion...i dont skimp on the stand practice either...thats soon to come...as soon as its out of the 90s. here at home i cant hang a stand...neighbors will have the cops here in seconds if i shoot from my roof...so i gotta goto my buddies farm to shoot from my stand. too stinkin hot...atleast here in the back yard i can jump in the pool after i get sweaty...dry off...shoot a couple more..jump back in...hopefully i can get my buddies to shoot from stands this year so we can move targets for eachother and get arrows...would save trips up and down the tree...lol
one of the local 3d shoots built some platforms this year...that was awesome. bend at the waist and send her home...watched my buddies NOT bend at the waist and watched them dig their arrow out of the hillside lol
