bow holder??
I just bought a Summit Viper SS. The stand is really comfortable and I like it alot but its not the biggest ever and I would like to hang my bow on the outside. Does anyone have the Summit bow holder or know of any other holder that works well. I have a Hoyt Ulta-tec that I don't want to drop 15 feet.

RE: bow holder??
I got a fork style holder from either BPS or Walmart, it has a bolt that goes perfectly through one of my chain locking pin holes in the lower frame. I just angle it so the weight of my bow presses against the two forks, works like a charm.

well I haven't spent any real time in the stand so I wasn't sure how comfortable it would be with a bow. Does your stand make noise when your walkin, I hvae tryed a few different ways of packing it up and I still get an occasional metal to metal clang

RE: bow holder??
I have a bow holder on my Summit....attached to the rail. It holds it in a vertical position (that's the position it's gonna have to be in to shoot it, right?).
I don't use it much, though. I screw one into the tree I'm in.....and hang it, there.....at the height I'll need it, standing. When I happen to be sitting.....and see a deer.....I stand up....and it's "there". No need for me to have access to it while I'm sitting. I can't shoot from that position with the rail, there.
Just my thoughts.

got one on the side rail of my summit rail as well. I like the vertical position as well. You can get your hands on it quick while not removing your eyes off your quarry, when they sometimes suddenly appear very near out of nowhere. Mine is homemade.
