Boar hunting, tacuinum sanitatis casanatensis (XIV century)Hunting is the practice of pursuing animals for food, recreation, trade or for their products. In modern use, the term refers to regulated and legal hunting, as distinguished from poaching, which is the killing, trapping or capture of animals contrary to law. Hunted animals are referred to as game animals, and are usually large mammals or migratory birds.
By definition, hunting strictly speaking, excludes the killing

I dunno? That's why I'm discussing this.
Do you gain as much experience on the sidelines as you do running plays? Have you gained as much experience when you "pass" on a deer as when you have your picture made with him?

Flinging an arrow is only .5% of the equation.
I think it's more than you make it out to be.....but I could be wrong.

Well technically your in the game..you just don't have the ball.
Tell your offensive line...they are not gaining expirience cuz they don't have the ball in their hands.. Then see how the game goes!

Totally disagree. if I shoot 10, this year.....I've placed 10 shots (or more).....I've had to time my draw 10 times (or more).......I'v ehad to observe 10 deer after a shot.....I've been involved in 10 recoveries.

So.....because you are able to shoot more deer than me you are gaining more experience?
Then I guess Davidmil was right.

I've got a 4 month long season starting on August 15. No limit and no tags required for antlered deer... As for antlerless, 2 per day on doe days and 2 doe tags for the season. Doe season starts September 1. And anything goes... rifle, shotgun, archery, muzzleloader, claymore... you name it.

We Can shoot 6 deer here in Oklahoma if you play your cards right. 4 during archery and 2 in gun season. Only 2 bucks allowed per season. You can use your bow during gun season to fill your gun tags. With that said I only shot 1 doe last season. Passed up probably 20 different bucks that will be bigger this year.
