Once. My 8-pointer from last year. He was chasing does hard.....and I "think" I only came to "full" draw, once and had to let down. I started to draw several times and he never stopped.

When he did stop for a second......he bit the farm.

I've shot two deer with a bow. The first one I drew twice and the second one I drew three times. The arrow hit both targets.

Nice thing about traditional is 99% of the time you get the shot off with no let down. Happens fast.
