Man I'm torn too Jeff, that's a lot of antler growth in 5 days however they can do that. The only iffy part for me is it only grew per sei on the one side. The other thing that looks slightly different is the messed up side, the distance between the G1 and G2 look different but I have to say, if they are different bucks, they were twin fawns!!!!!!!!

Both are shooters....you take one, I'll take the other when they come in together...lol

The overall shape of the frame is different.... Let alone the brows and amount the frame would of have grown the last few days.

My money would be on different deer.

Two different bucks there friend, I have zero doubt. Just my opinion though. #2 is looking good but I bet there is a bigger one yet.

Two different bucks or not, he's a nice one. Hopefully they are two different deer so when you shoot the one you still have the other to chase next year.

Does this mean the bull has dropped on the priority list.

I think they are two different deer as well. The buck with the full rack appears to have a larger overall spread as well as the brow tines are spaced Farther apart. I also really don't think you will see that much"repair" in the right side antler beam in that short a time. That makes two nice bucks running around.

Hmmmm...... I'm really starting to look like Nostradamus right about now eh??

No you dont have to feel like a dumbass. Just profess to all of us here at HNI that "You dont know your deer herd as well as you thought " Do you think you would be able to concede to that?

My overall game plan won't change, though. I HAVE to thin the doe herd.
Same here bud, I've got a ratio of like 7 or 8 does to one buck on this new hunting land I accuired. But I will have my eye out for a decent buck. Taking down some does this year will be pretty fun though.

As far as I'm concerned GMMAT, he's a good deer for anyones woods. I hope to have one like that in my woods in a few years... Good luck with him. I'm sure having history with him makes him that much more special.

If I'm wrong....I'll say I'm wrong. I learned this from being married.

I only claim to know my deer herd better than anyone else. We seem to be torn on whether this deer is the same or not......but if he isn't....I was wrong. I thought (still dont know) he was.
