Default One of my best locales for deer!!!!

I went down to the camp this morning to go riding an do a little looking. I decided I would goride down to a saddle where about three ridges come together where a mixture of white oaks, redoaks, ancedarsstand in between to bedding areas with a small pond about 300 yds away.

This is a spot that I saw about 10 nice bucksat last year, 2 of those 10 were mature whitetails an I got one of them last Oct. on the 28th. I topped the ridge an started down the hill an noticed that something was different there was not a tree standing anywhere an they were cutting it an hauling it out. I mean there is nothing left they cut cedars an everything!!! I am going to let them do there damage an then go in behind an start from scratch again, hopeful they will be gone in about 2 weeks or so.[:@][:@][:@]

It's unfortunate, but people do need lumber and such.

Haha, I did not expect that it would. I am just a realist. That being said, it's alot easier to be a realist when it isn't your hunting spot getting cut down. Good luck locating a new honey hole.

Wow, none of the anti-QDM guys have told you if you don't want to have that happen you should buy your own property.

That really sucks man, but look on the bright side. In a year or so and for the next few years that will be a deer magnet. I know that doesn't help you for this year, but you gotta try to stay positive.
