Proper release form when shooting fingers?
#1
I was wondering if there is a certain form when shooting fingers. I mean, do you just let the string slide out of your fingers or just let go or whatever else? I shoot fingers and occasionally I'll just shoot one that's way out of the group and I figured maybe there was a certain form. Maybe it's all personal preference.

I guess dropping something would be just like letting go? I don't know, I think different things might work for different people.
I'll have to try different ones out.

For a proper fingers release, do nothing. You don't let go. You don't open your fingers. You don't try to get your fingers out of the way. You simply allow your fingers to relax and let the bow take the string away from you. Key word is RELAX.
It's the same thing as bkalbach's coach teaches, just expressing it in a different way that, I think, is easier to understand.
