Thanks for the story and pic. Nice buck. Now I finally figured out what I'm doing wrong. I need to drive the truck up to my hunting spot and wait outside it for the deer to come up to it! LOL What scent attractant were you using? 10W40?

My truck was wearing one of those new carbon suits made by sent-lok. Very expesnive but very effective for those close shots by the truck!!. haha <img src=icon_smile_tongue.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>
Thanks again for the replies. I did take him to the taxidermist, my wife made me do it!!!! She told me I should get him mounted,,,but then in the next breath she said I would have to put it in the garage or in the basement. Humm......I will have to work on that part a little bit! She was smiling when she said that, so we will see. <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

Wow that is a great buck and a great story. Just curious what state are you hunting in? Hunting is certainly more challenging this time of year. Especially in PA. Congratulations on a great buck.
