Default Safety Harness promise

I think that most people on this site a honest, trust worthy people. People that stick to their word. In the past I am guilty of not wearing a harness all the time. At this time I ask that you join me in making a promise to your family, friends, and fellow members of HNI. Feel free to add you name.

I promise to wear my safety harness at all times. No harness = no hunting from a stand. Remember a man is only as good as his word.

Yep I am with you on this one. I havent used one and am currently trying to decide between those new hunter safety vests or the strap ones that came with my ladder stand last year.

As you said most are honest and trust worthy. This is why I cannot make this promise.

I hunt a couple ladder stands and quite frankly I don't wear a harness when in them.

Dumb perhaps..but at least not a liar !!

I made the promise to my family a long time ago. My harness and system seem so much a part of shooting from a stand that I think it would feel very different if I didn't use it.

Here are a couple good topics to take a look at:

My word is good enough, I need not make a promise. [8D]
