Man, I finally got my trail cam set up tonight and I'm like a kid on Christmas. I just spotted the bean field below my setup and saw 5 nice bucks in a bachelor group. The smallest was probably a 90" 8 point with the other 4 progressivly getting bigger. If I had to guestimate at that distance I'd say the biggest was a real nice 10 pushing 150. Hopefully they'll find the trail cam. Now all I have to do is let it sit and wait...AND WAIT...AND WAIT...AND WAIT!!!! It's killin' me!

It's always nice to see those bucks for the first time this year.

Its a waiting game! Did you put the camera on a food source or just a trail?

There's a 30 yard wide funnel connecting two larger patches of woods I put it in. There's also satnding corn running along the funnel that is loaded up with tracks. Basically it's 15 yards inside the woods facing the corn. I also placed 20lbs of lucky buck minerals and a gallon of apple flavored buck jam in front of the cam. I figured if they were following the woods edge they may smell the apple and minerals and come in for a closer look. Well see and I'll post the pics if I get any.
