Hunting season better get here soon. People are spending all their money on multiple bows when you can only shoot one at a time. A little likehaving a bunch of cars / trucks.

Maybe its time to go scouting or something......

A friendof mine just purchased a new VectrixXL and he loves it. Got rid oftheMatthews forever. I love Hoyt bows and have shot them since I first started bowhunting 10 years ago.

I have a 337 and soon to be a Cardiac. That's all the technology that Ross has to offer at the moment.

HiRoss Family, If you need someone new to fly the Company Flag that knows how to handle bothpublic perception and advertising, shoot me an e-mail. I'm much easier to set-up as a right hander.. Thanks

Cougs, all anyone is trying to say is think about your loyalties. For me, and just for me, if someone were giving me a new and expensive bow, I would not be singing the praises of another brand on a public forum. I may fall in love with another brand and go out and buy one, but out of loyalty to a person that has been so kind to me I would keep my feelings for brand X to myself. On the other hand, if I were giving someone a new and expensive bow, and then read on a public forum that they thought enough about another brand to sing its praises and were considering buying one, well I would have to think that maybe they don't really need my bow.
Look out for the interests of your benefactor. By doing so you will be looking out for your own best interests. Are you familiar with the expression, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth"?
If you want a different brand for different technology then go buy it. Just keep it under your hat.

You know, I have a hard time responding to threads on here sometimes. I just think people get a little too keyed up over "things". OK so Coug has Ross giving him a free bow. OK. Now, he shoots another bow and likes it. Cool. He speaks of "maybe" purchasing one he likes it so much. Now, If this were me, and it's not, I would have to wonder just how much this is gonna hurt Andy's feelings. Well, I guess you could look at it like this. Some of us "spend" $1000.00 or more each year on "the latest and greatest" bow out there and absolutely nothing is wrong with last years bow or the one from the year before. So, why do we do this? Status. Pure Status. I have to have what "he's" shooting, "she's" shooting, "they" are shooting. Oh the technology is so much better.(this is true in some instances) Well, I say poo poo. When you get the bow that's right for you. At least keep it for 3 to 4 years or more. Unless you just have to have the new toy on the block. You see, Coug has found a new toy, much like some here do every day. Do we honestly believe Andy has always shot Ross? I doubt that is where he started. Maybe someone "gave" him a new bow when he got started. Did he keep shooting it until he made Ross Bows? I doubt it. Is he still singing the praises of the bow that was given to him? I doubt that too. Although he may be still singing praises of the person who gave it too him. The bow is a piece of gear. The friend is a real live person with feelings. How long do we sing praises of the bow we shoot as compared to how long we sing praises to those who help us and are our friends? Man, what priorities are mixed up in this world. Coug works for a Ross dealer. He signs his check. Would you rather be loyal to those who have you by the payroll, or those who give a gift out of the goodness of their heart? I think both. If his employer is OK with him praising Ross in his shop, then I think Andy could be OK with him singing praises of Ross "and" Hoyt on an open Forum. If he (Andy) is not OK with this, then this speaks volumes about the "gift" he gave to Coug.

My 3c.

This is just my opinion but if you like the Ross bows and they are sponsoring you I wouldnt buy one from a competitor. Now if you didnt like the Ross bows, that is a different story andthen I couldnt blame you a bit for buying something else.

I wont shoot something I dont like no matter who makes it or how much or how little it costs me.

Hey LT.....

Ever wonder why we don't see Dale Jr. drinking a Miller Lite? Tiger wearing Pumas?

And...I buy a bow when I want to....and if and when I can justify the expense. What you or anyone else shoots concerns me not.
