Default Shooting with both eyes

Just wondering how many shoot their bow with both eyes open? I just started to do this and I really like it. It seemed to help my accuracy and also helped my range.

I can't. If you are left handed, you are generally left eye dominate. Right handed, you are generally right eye dominate. I am left haded, and shoot a pistol left haded, so I shoot those with both eyes open. But I shoot long guns and my bow right handed. If my left eye is open, my right eye will not concentrate correctly on the sights. I wish I could shoot with both eyes open, as it really helped when I started doing it with a pistol.

Same here... I can shoot pistols and rifles either way, but I've never tried shooting a bow left handed yet. And I'm not about to drop a bunch of money just to find out I suck

I do as well and find it to be much better for me as far as accuracy is concerned. However, a friend of mine didn't realize he was left eye dominant and did it for awhile. Then, one day we were at Kinsey's shooting the techno hunt and he kept launching his arrows into the left wall 10 yards down the lane. He had every tech in the store trying to figure out what was wrong with his bow. After 30 minutes it turns out he was aiming with the wrong eye.

I do, and it's the "proper" method, actually.

I feel for you guys that are right handed/left eye dominant.....Most coaches say the BEST thing to do is learn to shoot left handed....No way I could do it I don't think....That's got to be difficult for ya'll....
