Bow questions, please help!!!!
I just purchased a hoyt reflex excursion bow for my son. It is a used bow. I hope I did the right thing. He knows more about these things than I do normally and he said its a good bow. It is 2 years old.And the fact that he is 13 and growing so fast I didnt want to spend 600 dollars on a new one. I gave 200 for this one and it had a few goodies on it. Did I do good or bad??

Thanks for the message. My son loves to hunt. Being diabetic can make it sometimes challenging, but a 18 pound gobbler, 2 doe and seeing lots of game together make it all worth while. I wouldnt change it for anything!!

Thanks, my son is pretty much my hero for all that he deals with being a 13 year old and also diabetic. We love to hunt. I have been taking him with me since he was 10. Just last year he wanted to take up muzzleloader hunting so now we do that also. He honestly made me from a wake up and flipa coin, maybe I will go alone again today hunter to a hardcore hunter! We put our first trail cam out last week and today we went to get our chip to look at it. Its just so nice to have a relationship with my son the way I kinda wish it would have been with my Dad. I love it!!!

$200 bucks to get into bowhunting with a solid rig (made by Hoyt) is great.
A 13 year old should appreciate any bow his dad buys him.
That and the time you spend together is as the MC commercial says - priceless.
My dad and I spend our best time together hunting or doing hunting related stuff.
