I started shooting without a kisser, until someone much wiser took pity on me at the range and showed me what I was doing wrong. He put a kisser on my bow, and passed on a wealth of knowledge, that made me a completely different shooter. I still use it today matter of fact.

I actually don't know anyone who shoots a kisser button these days. I remember that they seemed big in the 80's though.

Kisser buttons are actually not that consistent and are not worth the extra weight in my opinion. Positively no need for one if you have a peep sight, either one or the other. If you need both you have very inconsistent form and your peep is not located in the correct position.

I don't even use one if I shoot without a peep.

I have a buddy that has one and swears by it, won't shoot without it. Even though I have watched him endlessly anchor to a different spot from shot to shot and contort his face to find the kisser button. As many do, most do not use them right to begin with. Why you would want to anchor to the most inconsistent spot on your face is beyond me.

Get a No Peep, much more accurate and doesn't add weight to your string.

My opinions anyway.

I just put one on the 337 I just got and I'm really liking it. Seems to just help as a confidence builder that you are anhored right.

No kisser here. I anchor with my knuckle under my ear, keep both eyes open looking through the peep, and touch the string to the tip of my nose.

I use one but im a begginer. I probably wont take it off b/c like cougars said its more of a confidence builder i use my knuckle to my ear as an anchor and string to my nose but the kisser just seems to give me confidence. I dont think the wieght is enough to be significant.
