Paul summed it up fairly well, I think.

Started with a kisser button....

When I switched peeps.....the light came on. I now simply align my peep with the sight ring.....and I KNOW I"m in the right position (If they're aligned....I KNOW where my arrow's going).

How do you KNOW your anchored correctly? Where do you anchor your kisser button to? I have rarely seen anyone that uses a kisser button anchor consistent from shot to shot.

A small knot on the string that touches your nose would work better, some call them a "noser".

I bet most of you using a kisser button could shoot better without it after an hour of decent instruction and ensuring that your bow fit you correctly. Many use them because the bow does fit well enough to have good anchor points.

They must work though, because all of the top shooters use them.

I never thought about adding a "noser" to my string. I anchor my knuckle, look through the peep, and then touch my nose with the string. Might have to tie in a knot on there.

I agree with Paul here, even though I do use a peep, I have noticed how easy it is to slightly shift that button in the corner of your mouth and change your anchor. I have been thinking of not shooting with one myself. I have been using a three point anchor. Kisser, peep, knuckle on jaw.

Never used a kisser. I also wear a facemask when hunting, so if I did, it would probably be a problem.

well guys i decided to go without the kisser and i feel it was the best choice for me. It seems my three anchor points at the peep, the nose, and the ear work very well for me.
Thanks for the help everybody

Just a peep sight currently. When I did use one the best kisser button I ever used was an eliminator button.
