I always have a neck knife with some essentials attached, but other than that, just a buck folder and a sharp hatchet.

I carry a Leatherman, and have a Browning skinner, as well as a Benchmade folder. Have a few other single blades I usually carry to the skinning shed as well.

I have my gerber multi-tool as well as an old timer I have had for years. I also carry a folding saw that I got on clearance for like $8 that I can cut trees with and it makes quick work of the pelvic area as well as the ribcage if I am going to cut that high.

I take a Buck 110 Folding hunter, and then also a multi-tool with me. Haven't found that I need any other blades.

I have a Case knife that my dad bought me many years ago. The sheath is hard plastic and not as nice as the fancy leather ones, but I learned quickly to appreciate its design. After gutting a deer and putting the bloody, fat, and fur covered knife back in you just run hot water through the sheath and there are two drain holes in the bottom. Very easy clean up.

I can't see a reason to buy a new one any time soon.

I use a Browning three blade folder. One drop point, one gut hook w/razor and one saw blade. With the exception of larger branches over 2in, (rare that I remove them) this knife will handle anything I need it to do.
