hey there
im pretty new to this forum.
well i've really like archery soo i decided to go hunting with a bow.
i've never been hunting cause i live in the city and like i have family in the country and they own a lot of land. well im looking for a bow that is like in the $100-$300 range. i've looked at the popular models like diamond, reflex, and bear. the problem is that im 6'1 and like i need a bow that has a draw length about 29in-30in and has a draw weight of 60-70.
thanks guys

You could buy a good used Bow completely set up or hit the local Shops in your state and find last years model on sale maybe?I was at an Archery Shop today and they had a new Jennings Bow that was regularly priced for over $500.00 down to $299.00 bare with no quiver, rest or sights. Not a bad price for it in my opinion!

if you have a pro-shop near you. Go there and get fitted. Once you figure out your draw length, I recommend going to archerytalk classifieds or www.huntersfriend.com and finding something

You can most likely find an ole Jennings T Star or Hoyt Prohunter in a pawn shop for less then $100.00 ....there have been a lot of deer harvested with these old bows ...
