Parker Trailblazer XP is a very nice bow for $399 fully equiped. I shot one a month ago very smooth draw and shoots well. I'm currently graduating from a PSE Nova that I absolutley loved to shoot they also have some fully equiped models for under $350. If you bump to $599 Diamond Triumph is on bad *ss bow I shot it to and it is a very nice piece of equipment.

For $599, I suggest you find a pro shop and shoot the Fred Bear, Instinct. I shot one while looking for a new bow and wow. They are a great smooth bow for a great price.

As mentioned, PSE would be a good option in that price range. You could also get a brand new Reflex (like the Bighorn) for around $300 - but then you'll have to buy the accessories.
