I doubt he would be 4.5 yrs old, maybe 3.5, but I would sway towards the 2.5 range. I would most deffinately draw back on that deer, can't say I would shoot him, but at least shoot at him:D. There are deer that big and bigger around here, but I have never had one in bow range yet, can't say I have had one in M/L range either, so I would try and take him, but thats just me, I don't have a deer that big yet!

ORIGINAL: dukemichaels That deer is most definatly older than 2.5 years old! Whitetail look much different in the fall and look thin in the summer. But you can still notice the sagging belly of a mature deer (even with the summer coat). 3.5+ year old or older.. and more than likely a 4.5+ year old. If that was a 2.5 (no way) it would be showing AMAZING genetics. |

I think 3.5 years and around 130", very nice buck, i enjoyed looking.

That's a great pic! I am also guessing he's a 3 year old, that would be an incredible 2 year old? With a little luck, you'l get a few more photos of 'em.
