One year they killed a really nice 10 pt. I had been after all fall, and man was I torqued![:@]
It was never said this deer was taken out of season. It was saidin the sentence prior to the above quote thatthe nephews hunted when the earge struck them so to speak. Now if you have info they did indeed take this or any deer for that matter during one of these earge outings it is your responsability to report them, but you never said clearly that this was the case with this particular animal. If it is I myself would not have been able to stand pat on the matter like you. Your only hurting yourself directly and anyone else that hunts the area indirectly by staying quite.

I'm not sure how you can get torqued if it is the guy's nephews and it's in season. They are blood and you are not. I'd just be thankful that they guy lets you hunt there at all and let it go.

I have to deal with the same thing on property I hunt. When his son thinks he might be coming in he says no one else can hunt the property. that's life. I don't own it and the guy is blood.

Then let the landowner know if you can prove it and hope for the best that he is a law abiding person and won't condone this type of activity.

I would turn him in if they are poaching, if not you cant do much. I know it might make you guys mad when landowners family hunt on thier property, but it is their property and they can do what they want. We shut our property down during all deer and turkey seasons so only we can hunt it. I really dont care how it makes people feel becouse it is mine and ill do what i wantAnd when people start tresspasing it really pisses me off and then the law becomes invloved. If they want to hunt that bad then they should go out and buy thier own land.

Good to see you back around here Dave. [8D]

Cay,it seems like the term "redneck" is just not that applicable to people living in Northeast
Ohio, I mean southeastern Ohio, yes, butNortheastern Ohio?

They were hunting with a gun duringbow season. They are poachers in my book and they would get reported. I hate poachers. Poachers are as bad as thiefs. I hate thiefs as well...

Thanks Will. I went and was a beach bum for 10 days down at my brother's place. Shot a 3-D course whileI was there on my last day. What a great time.

Believe me there's even rednecks in PA.I had to move South to get away from them.
