Default Which is the better bow...

Howdy all! I am new to the forum and I just have to say thanks a bunch for all the info you guys and gals have logged. It has helped me out already with getting into the bowhunting groove. Here is my problem...I accidently acquired two different bows today, and one will need to go.

...PSE Laser Game Sport -
40" axle to axle, set at 70# @ 30" draw. It came with a balancer, a peep sight and noc locator on the string. The sight is a simple 4 pin sight . It also has 14 arrows which need refletched.

...Bear First Strike -
41" axle to axle, set at 65# @ 31" draw. It came with two rubber spider leg silencers. There is also a peep sight and noc locator on the string. The sight is a simple 4 pin sight on a dove mount. Also on the sight dove mount is another dove mount for the quiver. The quiveris a Game Tracker that holds 10 arrows and has a broadhead tightener and compass in the top.

Both are in super great condition and came with a hard case. I plan on shooting both before I make a decision, but wanted your expert opinons on my options

Thanks for the help!...and Take'er Eazy!

Andy welcome... new to bowhunting as well, but someone will tell you THEIR OPINION on the two bows. Remember that the brand or cost of a bow doesn't matter. To shoot well, you just need a forgiving bow that fist you well and has a reasonable draw weight. I have a PSE Fire Flite and really like it.

Welcome to the addiction..
IMHO it's best for you to decide which bow is best for you. As for the bows you mentioned with the 30" & 31" draw you must be upwards of 6' 4" or better for that kind of draw length. I think you should at least go by a good bow shop get measured for a proper draw for you, and see what they (the bow shop) can do for you. You'll be glad you did.

I would shoot both of them and see what fits you best. PSE and Bear both make quality bows so which ever you like to shoot is the one that you should keep. Also what is your draw length? Are the two bows adjustable to your draw length. Since each one is different you will have to adjust one or the other if not both to fit you. Best advice is to shoot both of them and decide for yourself.
