I know how you feel. I lost my mom in the summer of '89. She was 1 of my best fishin' buddies. She loved to fish and be outside. But everytime I see a doe with a yearling trailing behind, I think of those trips as a boy down to the local creek in Tampa. She's still around. I feel her every now and then when I'm by myself in the woods. As for the joy of your hunting season? I haven't got a clue! Still 0fer here.

Hey it sounds like you had an outstanding deer season, congratulations!
Due to the size of the area, the deer density, and the possibility of extreme temperatures, I know for some of our Canadian brothers it is quite an accomplishment to get any deer with a bow. Great Job!
Sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. It sounds as if she was a wonderful woman.
It would appear that next year will be a much anticipated event with the promise of new toys and hunting grounds.
