Default Fall Away Problems

So I took my new QAD Ultra Rest for it's first spin and after the first three arrows I notices markes on the prong things. What else could they be from other than the arrow? I haven't put felt on them yet, just the shelf, but this worries me. Any suggestions??

I went to get one, and it concerns me also. I was told that some bows are to fast for them? Not sure going to stick with what I have for now.

Sounds like rest timing. Get the rest to fall sooner if you can. Do you have the lock down model that prevents bounceback?

The QAD rests are a bit different compaired to other drop aways. You dont want to advance the rest any at all.To get the best clearance ithas to hit the vertical upright position no sooner than maybe an inch before you hit full draw, right at full draw is optimal. The lower your cord is attached to the down buss cable the faster it will drop also. Hope this helps, good luck.

Cool, thanks man. That's exactly what I was looking for. I wasn't sure I should move the cord lower or shorten it, etc. THanks again.

Yes, I am pretty sure I do.

One more question: How can I tell now if it is hitting the rest still if it already has the marks on it? Also, how can I make it hit the vertical position sooner? Thanks!

You can put lip stick on your rest or your vanes, either will work and Im sure you will be able to see if there is some contact being made. As for getting your rest to hit top position sooner, just shorten your cord a bit, easiest way I found was to pull the end that is attached to the rest and just burn it down a tad, have to be careful not to go to much though. Make sure its hitting top position as close to full draw as possible, sooner isnt better in this case.
