I will keep a bow for as long as I'm comfortable with it. Some bows I've shot fortenyears while others only lasted one. If I'm not completely satisfied with it I will shoot it but will always be on the look out for another. If I'm happy with it I will shoot it for as long as I can till either it breaks or gets so dated that I'm forced to upgrade.

I got 6 years outta my Mathews Q2 before I bought the Hoyt V-tec. My V-tec will be 3 yrs next month. I'll probably get one after this season if theres enought money left over after the wedding/house/family thing! I'm hoping to Ebay it in the spring. Hopefully to get 1/3 of the new bow cost

Otherwise it will have to last me another year.

I've been shooting my mathews feather max for 10yrs,but i'm currently shopping around foe a new one as i write this,and i will more than likely keep it a very long time unless it's junk.You can bet your but I'll keep my feather max as a backup!
