How long do you plan on using your current bow as your primary hunting bow?

I just bought a new bow this year after having my last one for about 7 yrs. I hope the new one last as long and/or I don’t get board with it.

I get a new one at the shop I work for every year. I could keep my current one, but after 2 years I would have to partially pay for a new one. If I trade up every year, it costs me nothing.

I get a new one every 8-10 years. I got mine in 04. But now that I've dabbled in the trad thing who knows what lies ahead for me. I'm already looking to get another recurve.

I shot a Martin Cougar II for 23 years and I'd still be shooting it today if my buddy hadn't given me a new bow 4 years ago. Actually he gave me an old broken down bow but it was still under warranty and I sent it in for repairs and they gave me a new one.

Primary whitetail.....I said 2 years.

I'll have a Guardian....."maybe" by turkey season, though. I'm trying to decide.

I'll probably shoot my Allegiance as my primary bow for about three years before I upgrade, unless something comes out that I like shooting better.
