Nothing wrong with Mathews, I own a Drenalin and I think it's a fine bow,other than being a bit over priced there is nothing wrong with them, I just prefer to shoot my Hoyt, it's better for me.

Because "our" group of misfits and bowhunters seem to have more of an opinion than other websites.

There is nothing wrong with a Mathews.. it's a good product. It's technology is just starting to fall behind.. they put alot of money in advertising first.

I haven't owned a bow for years. I went with the recomendations from the guys off this site. Then I went down and bought what felt good to me, and I ended up with a Bowtech. Every bow I looked at before I purchased, felt like an awsome bow.

ummm......let me think......mathews just arnt the prefered choice of a hardcore bow hunter. j/k they make a great bow, alot of people here just prefer better bows:D

Maybe it's because the Mathews shooters that hang out here are open minded (not so open minded that our brains fall out though (thanks, Arthur)). If we were the closed minded, "my bow is the only good bow" types, we'd be at Mathews.com.

I've already admitted that I like the looks of the Guardian, but I'll say this: If Fred Flintstone was seen shooting a bow, it'd look something like the Guardian. It kinda looks like a big narrow bone with a limb on each end.:D

I shoot a Matthews, a Q2 as a matter of fact. a little dated in most peoples minds, but it shoots great, its quiet and fits me very well. I did however shoot the bowtech guardian and loved it. I would like to try the Bowtech Alli. as well and some of the hoyts to. Im open minded to most but not all.
