When it rains....It pours!!!

Well, I went to my local range last week to shoot some. I took my 2006Bowtech/Diamond Techunter with me to shoot and as I took it out of the case my fingers felt the slightest of snag on the underside of the limb. Upon further inspection there is a very very small layer of limb separating and breaking through the camo finish.....Crap!
So,I packed up and took it home, now for those of you who remember I purchased that bow in a garage sale for $65.00 and used it all last year so I'm not too bummed about it and I might just purchace new limbs for it or just part it out on e-bay or something, I don't know.
Well.....it gets better. I go home and decide to dust off my backup bow (2005 Browning Oasis) well wouldn't you know it, I notice a small (half inch long) crack along the outside of the limb about four inches from the limb bolt right smack in the middle of the limb........Double crap!!
To make matters worse, I just sold off three other bows I had laying around thinking "I'm never gonna shoot them again, I might as well sell them to someone who will", by-by went my Browning Blood Brother, Browning Boss Tracker and Browning Trophy Magnum II.
Some of you might also remember I traded my Ross 334 eariler this year so that's gone too!
As it is I'm left with two broken bows (both purchased used) and my Browning Rage One (the one I found in the garbage
). Like I said I can either purchase new limbs for both or spend the money on a new bow to use as a primary and keep the Rage One (very trusty) as my backup bow.
Not a good few weeks for bows in the BigJ house. By the way, these two limb failures are the first I have ever had in the 20 plus years of compound bow shooting....I guess the odds finally caught up to me.
Oh, one more thing...........Crap!

It sounds like a NEW bow is the route to travel.I hear the Hoyt Vectrix is a decent bow.

I'm thinking I may just get a new one, I never purchased a "new bow" until I got the Ross. I usually just get them at yard sales or private sales. I must say getting something no one else has shot before (or thrown in the garbage
) was a pretty good feeling.
Maybe I'll start looking again.

Get a Cardiac if you liked the ROSS. I'd say you have a pretty long DL don't you?

The added 1/2inthe string loop provides makes the 31in drawanchor justright for me. I really liked the Ross and might just buy another CR334 or CR337.
The Cardiac is out of the loop as I believe it onlyavailable up to a 30in draw length.

I have abouta 32in draw length but I prefer a 31in draw with a string loop for my hunting bows (easier for me to move and shoot from different angles while wearing bulky clothes) and since all I do is hunt with them.......31" it is.

Are you a smooth draw guy or speed bow guy?

As long as it feels right in my hands and shoots good for me I'll consider it. I'm not too concerned about the words written on the limbs.

I'm having trouble getting past......."Bought a 2006 Techunter for $65"[:-]
$65!? [:-][:-]
Why does that stuff never happen to me?
Anyway , what you describe is what is commonly referred to as a "feather". I'm not gonna tell you what to do,(I'll let Greg do that
) but if it were mine and it had no warranty like that bow I'd just snip that little snag off, put a drop of fletch cement on the edge to keep it from lifting further and shoot it til' the wheels fell off which would probably be somewhere around 2028. (You'd be due for a new bow by then anyway)
