really sucks though, you will prolly still be able to hunt if you get a handicaped permit shoot the from the truck, its not huntin but it fills the freezer and you dont have to get cold Sorry Buddy.

Sorry to hear that. Knee problems are a pain.

I tore my ACL back in Highschool playing our 2nd football game of the season. Even though it hurt, luckily I was able to play out the season. But my knee deffinately wasn't the same with it torn. I ended up having surgery, and having the ACL replaced. Even though is close to back to normal, it still isn't ever going to be like it was.

Even though I was on crutches for 2 months, I still was able to get out in the field a few times. Everything just took a whole lot longer.

I appreciate the encouragement and the offers byJeff and others. But have no fear, old Bob, will be hunting come Sept 29th. I hope to be well on the road to recovery by then. But in either case I have an ATV and Hop really well. Pehaps I won't be off in the deep woods stillhunting but I'll be somewhere where my chances are good and my spirit is high..
