Scouted some of the land I hunt today and did a little work. I have not been over there since deer season closed so I wanted to check out what was planted and see how low the water was (no rain lately [:@]). They have a load of beans and corn planted and at least one big field of tomatoes. Looking pretty good so far and I am in full on countdown mode now. Here are some pics:














2 bucks (can't see em real good but I can zoom enough on computer to see horn).


These are mostly different deer we saw 20 by 1200. The last pic was taken around 1130, they were out all day it seemed like.

I hope so. I got a pretty good feeling about the upcoming season and three weeks of leave saved so I can be a little patient and try some areas I haven't hunted much yet.

It is good to see them, I was surprised to only see 1 fawn yesterday. Anyone else been seeing many fawns?
