hey guys im not sure where to post this but my concern is i have a hunting spot about 3 hours form where i live and i use a generator for power there, my property is only 20 acres of wooded land and from certain parts of the property when your hunting you can hear the generator, what can i do to quiet the generator do they make silencers for them, right now its in a shelter comparable to an outhouse but the sound still travels, i feel because i'm only up there on the weekends that this is scaring the deer because its not a sound that they are use to any advice would be great trying to do what i can to make it more successfull season for me.

I don't think it will bother them. I have the same scenerio only with a bit more land. We don't start it in the mornings though during bow season. We mainly use lanterns to get around. In the evenings though we use it with no worries. Oursis a Kohler, and I'm sure it's much louder then the Honda.

I have known some people to dig a hole in the ground and place the generator inside the hole. seems to help but you shouldnt need to.
