I have never tried either! I cant tell but i think the hunters view is the same tree stand a buddy of mine has , i cant tell for sure? If it is the same one it is a lot like my api grand slam lite and it is a great treestand! The rubber gripper makes it easy to climb! In my personal opinion if you are going to buy a climber treestand spend the extra money on a good one,Summit,Api,etc...! I know several people that have cheap climbers just sittin around that they never use because they spent the extra money and bought comfort! Good luck in whatever you decide on

I do have one thing about safety if they have those straps on the platform make sure you do put the around your boots or shoes. I like a idiot once did not and thankfully only got up about 8 feet then the bottom slip off my boots and down went the plat form and left me hanging with the top part.

make sure you tie a rope fromt he bottom to the top as well extra insurance i got left hanging once aobut 10 ft up i bet i stayed up there for a minute think aobut what i should do to minimalize the drop nothing so i dropped and bruised my tailbone
