Default SKB Case size

I am looking to get an SKB double case. I would use it for a Hoyt xTec and Trykon. Does the regular double case hold the Trykon? It doesn't have to be pretty but it will be used on airlines. I just need one that will hold both bows. I need to order today or tomorrow so any quick help would be great. My son is home from the Navy and wants to take his bows back with him.

Thanks all.[/align]

I'd make sure it would accomodate parallel limb bows. I might be purchasing the same case, soon. Good luck.

I have one, and only keep one bow in it, Hoyt VTEC.

I've never tried two, but im pretty sure it'd be really tight, dont plan on keeping any arrows in w/ em, they'd be under alot of pressure.

I was looking at the 5000 series but I called SKB and they claim a parallel limb will NOT fit in anything but their 4114 or 4119. Makes no sense to me.

The SKB pictured in the Cabela's 2007 Archery catalog that they call
the "New Parallel Limb Geometry Case" is as good as they come. If you
happen to be close to a "Sportsman's Warehouse", they also sell them.
I haven't been able to find the same case on SKB's web site though.
The Parallel one on the site is different. The one in the cataloge is:
42" x 20" x 8" and fits my Guardian and Commander really well. In their
last cataloge it's item #MW-41-8231.
Good luck with your search.

I don't know what series I purchased but I bought an SKB and returned it because it wouldn't hold to bows. At least not without crushing it. I did purchase another bow case based on a recommendation I got here and it worked great. I was also movre than $50 cheaper. Easily holds two bows. I can't recall the name off hand but it is a silver case.
