Decoys are fun..But like anything else hit and miss. I advise use a buck decoy, along with grunting & rattling. Just as the late prerut is kicking in. Set him so as the buck approaches (which he will do head-on) so it provides you an open shot!

That master series looks great but it is a hoss!
I think most of the deer in my woods would have to come by just to pay
their respects to the Godfather. Maybe pulling an antler off would help.
I've been thinking about using one. Bought one last year on mail order but had to return it because the body cavity was so poorly made it wouldn't even close. I won't dispariage the company since they took it back.
