I wouldn't attempt to cut the field. That will only drive him to find other grounds to bed and that might not be on your property.

Give it time. Try to find his runways to and from the field. You'll get him eventually.

Yeah its not my land and plus i love hunting over the field because i think deer use it to conceal themselves. My plan as of right now is to find a quick and easy way to the fence row between the corn and the weed field. I think i should have a pretty good oppertunity if i can get in silently. One thing that has been worrying me is that i'm unable to find his shed and i havnet seen him for awhile. But i guess all of this is why i love this sport so much.
