No Zubba.....and I was sure hoping to get some. My neighbor said he saw one nursing near his house the other night......and that's about 3-400yds from where my mineral site is. I'm looking forward to some little ones.
I know what you mean, those damn fawns always put a smile on my face this time of year.

Man you guys are making me itchy to get a camera out at my place in PA. I won't get down there till the weekend of the 23rd, and then won't be able to pull the cards until the 4th so hopefully I get something interesting.

Keep the pictures coming........

Hey Jeff looks like you go the start of a decent buck there. I was thinking about picking up another cam is that the Moultrie 2.0? I havean earlier model and have been pretty happy with it except for the battery life but overall its a decent Cam.

ORIGINAL: GMMAT

Cougs....I was in Kingsport Sat and Sun.....Boone Lake.

BEAUTIFUL!
You bet!

We are really blessed with lakes around here. I live about 200yards from the Boone Lake. The deer numbers are really rising but I'd like to see some steps taken to improve the quality of the bucks and to improve the buck to doe ratio. Nice to see you enjoyed yourself. We may have to hook up for a hunt sometime.

Nice! That buck looks like he could be a good one. If you get a crack at that old dog and let him go he could be real nice in 2 years. Did you have that set up over your minerals or just on a trail?

I'm a little earlier than I was last year, Jim.....but I couldn't wait. I was also hoping to get a glimpse at some little-bitty ones.

I got over 100 photos in a 3 day period, last year. I KNOW there were multiples of the same deer......but it lets you know why I need to thin the does. I've learned a lot about that in the last year.

Bry.....I can't tell which buck he is YET. I honestly won't shoot one this year....unless I think he's bigger than last year's, the 4-5.5yr old I'm after.....OR he's injured. I might have some really good bucks here in a couple of years.....I agree. I saw 10-12 1.5 yr olds last year. Hopefully they'll stick around. NO REASON for them to disperse. They have everything they need right here.

He's safe .....unless he'll go 100"+......which is a pretty good deer for my woods OR.....he's my old nemesis.

Sorry.....cam is set up on my mineral site.
