I'd also say that battery life with the 6v rechargables is a BIG selling point. USUALLY I don't have to charge mine for a few months, and maybe a month at the least when taking a lot of pictures. 20+ a day for me....

looks as the Doe might be carrying some little ones, shes kinda hefty!!
I usually get a month out of a non-rechargeable battery.
